OUR BELIEFS
We are an Orthodox Presbyterian Church and believe that a faithful summary of what the Bible teaches is found in the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism, and the Shorter Catechism. Below is a short summary of our beliefs:

Triune God
We believe in one living and true God, in whom eternally there are three distinct persons- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who are the same in being and equal in power and glory.
The Bible is the Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, which is all-sufficient for faith and practice. The Bible’s central message is that all people have fallen into sin through Adam, and that the only way for us to have a personal relationship with God is through faith in Jesus Christ.
Salvation by Grace Alone and Faith Alone
We believe that all mankind are fallen in sin under the curse of physical, spiritual, and eternal death. We believe that those who, by the grace of God, repent and forsake sin and trust in Jesus Christ as their only hope for salvation, are justified before God and receive eternal life that Jesus earned for His people.
Jesus is the Head of the Church
We believe that the only Head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ, and that the only standard of the church is His Word. We believe that God has given the church the primary task to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that Jesus has commanded. We also believe the children of believers to be a part of God’s covenant family, and therefore, are to be baptized.

God chooses and preserves for himself a community elected for eternal life and united by faith, who love, follow, learn from, and worship God together. God sends out this community to proclaim the gospel and prefigure Christ’s kingdom by the quality of their life together and their love for one another. (New City Catechism #48)
