  • Parenting Chat SATURDAY

    • Join us for our 2nd Parenting Chat- a morning set aside for thoughtful reflection on Christian parenting within our church community. Childcare and light refreshments will be provided

    • Pastor Peter will be on vacation this week so ​Rev. Joel Kim, President of Westminster Seminary, will be preaching God’s word and leading Sunday school 12/14
       

  • Christmas Fellowship

    • Please join us for a time of devotion and table fellowship on December 20 at 4:30PM as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.​

    • We will begin with hymn singing and a short message followed by a catered meal and a white elephant gift exchange. More details coming soon!

    • Update: Please note the time has been moved up to 4:30PM
       

  • Come and Consider Q/A on Second Sundays at GUOPC (canceled for December)

    • Come and Consider Sundays will take place during regular second Sunday service: “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord (Isaiah 1:18).

    • If you know someone who's curious about church or beginning to explore faith, second Sundays are a great Sunday to invite them to Grace United. After worship, stay for a relaxed Q&A with the pastor, a chance to ask honest questions about faith, life, and God.

    • Starting in January, our student leaders are planning to provide games and activities for the littles (ages 3-grade 2) inside the Education Center on second Sundays after worship so that parents may participate in the Come and Consider Q/A. NEW

    • Submit questions for the Q/A here.​

    • Cancer: Winston (cancer), Josephine’s grandfather (coming to faith, stage 4 prostate cancer), Mark’s mother (undergoing chemotherapy), Sonya (recent tests show cancer-free, continue to pray for health), Jonathan’s father (gastric cancer), Sonya’s father (lymphoma)

    • Injuries: Diane (rehabilitation from surgery after hit by car, recent fall), Robert (kidney disease)

    • Other: Chang (health), Nancy (for remission after infusion treatments are completed for thyroid eye disease), Eugene (undiagnosed health issues and mental health struggles), Ahrah’s mother (blurriness in left eye), Hannah (knee replacement post-surgery healing), Soonho (joint hypermobility syndrome), Susan (dental condition), Heimen (eye treatment), Mrs. Christian (difficulty breathing, side effects of medication, needs more medical home care), Lisa (surgery)

  • Please continue to pray for churches throughout the world, especially in difficult areas like China and the Middle East and where unbelief persists like in Japan.​​
     

  • Pray for Gina's and Deacon Yong’s children, Amy, Tim, Michael, and Diana and for other covenant children who are struggling with unbelief
     

  • GUOPC: Praise be to the Lord that Grace United OPC has become a particularized church within the Presbytery. Please pray that as a congregation, we would be faithful to serve the Lord and bring Him glory as a salt and light in the community of Stanton. Pray for the smooth transition of the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to our church.
